Adult learning

Adult learning, also known as andragogy, refers to the principles and practices of teaching and facilitating learning among adults. Unlike pedagogy, which focuses on the education of children, andragogy emphasizes the unique characteristics, needs, and motivations of adult learners. Adult learning is centered around the idea that adults bring a wealth of life experiences and knowledge to the learning environment, which shapes how they engage with new information.

Malcolm Knowles is widely known as the father of adult learning.
