Web-Based Training (WBT) is the term used to describe eLearning delivered over the internet in the mid-to-late 1990s, coinciding with the rapid growth of the World Wide Web. Unlike traditional learning, WBT allowed learners to access training from any location, at any time, using web-based technologies like HTML, multimedia, and interactive quizzes.
