Development

Development represents the second “D” in the ADDIE instructional design model, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Development phase in instructional design involves the creation, assembly, and refinement of educational materials and resources based on the blueprint established during the Design phase. This phase is where the theoretical plans and strategies are transformed into tangible instructional products that will be delivered to learners.

Development includes content creation, multimedia production, interactive element creation, quality assurance and testing, and LMS integration.

This phase of ADDIE involves eLearning developers, content creators, and instructional designers skilled in content creation.
