KSAs (Knowledge Skills Abilities)
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) are the core competencies that define what an individual needs to know, do, and be able to perform effectively in a specific job role or function. Knowledge refers to the theoretical understanding or information an individual possesses about a particular subject or field. Skills are the practical, learned abilities to perform tasks or activities with proficiency. Abilities are the natural or developed capacities that enable an individual to perform tasks or roles, often encompassing a combination of physical and cognitive traits.
