Leigh Anne Lankford Named to Georgia State University Learning Leaders Advisory Board
TrainingPros is proud to share that Leigh Anne Lankford, President of TrainingPros, has been invited to serve on the Learning Leaders Advisory Board for Georgia State University’s Online M.S. in Instructional Design & Technology program.
The Learning Leaders Advisory Board brings together senior learning and talent development executives to help shape the future of the profession. Members serve as strategic advisors, contributing to curriculum design, identifying emerging skills, and strengthening the connection between graduate education and real-world business needs.
The board’s mission, to ensure graduates are workforce-ready and aligned with the evolving demands of modern learning organizations, closely reflects the work TrainingPros does every day with its clients and consultants.
The board is being relaunched in 2026, with its first meeting scheduled for April.
“This is truly an honor,” said Leigh Anne Lankford. “At TrainingPros, we see every day how quickly the skills needed in our field are evolving, especially with AI and new ways of working. Being part of this board allows me to bring those real-world insights directly into the classroom. It’s also a reflection of something we care deeply about as a company. We encourage our team to serve in the community, and this is one way I’m able to contribute to developing the next generation of learning professionals.”
Lankford’s participation also reflects TrainingPros’ broader commitment to community impact. As part of its Pledge 1% initiative, the company encourages employees to dedicate 1% of their paid time to volunteer efforts that strengthen the communities where they live and work.
Rooted in the belief that helping others is core to who they are, TrainingPros supports initiatives that advance education and workforce development, making this advisory role a natural extension of that commitment.
“The Learning Leaders Advisory Board was designed to bring together industry voices who are actively shaping the future of learning,” said Dr. Mike Law, Clinical Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for the Instructional Design & Technology program at Georgia State University. “…Advisors were selected for their unique perspectives across industries, because the challenges facing L&D professionals don’t belong to any one sector. These are practitioners on the front lines of where the field is heading — from AI integration into learning development workflows to the broader workforce transformation reshaping how organizations build human capability. Their insights will help ensure our students are prepared not just for today’s roles, but for the ones being created right now and in the near future.”
