TrainingPros Attends ATD
Philadelphia’s Liberate Your Learning Conference

TrainingPros Relationship Manager Leigh Hurst joined learning and development professionals from across the Philadelphia area for the first annual Liberate Your Learning Conference, hosted by ATD Greater Philadelphia at the Inn at Villanova University on September 15, 2026.

The full-day conference brought together L&D professionals to explore emerging ideas in artificial intelligence, leadership, learning design, workplace performance, and talent development.

The day opened with a keynote from Jeff Orlando, Chief Learning Officer at Bristol Myers Squibb, who encouraged L&D professionals to stay on the cutting edge of technology and demonstrate to organizational leaders how it can be used effectively.

Leigh also attended breakout sessions led by Alec McChesney, Emily Morgan, Brian Gall, and Dan Gallagher. One question from Gallagher’s session particularly stayed with her:

“Are you a fixer or are you a teacher?”

“It was a beautiful fall day to connect with the Philadelphia L&D community and spend time learning from so many talented professionals,” Leigh said. “The ATD Greater Philadelphia board and conference planners really nailed it.”
