TrainingPros at DevLearn 2024: Exploring the
Future of Learning and Development

TrainingPros is attending more events! From November 6–8, 2024, Lori Fancher, Ph.D., TrainingPros Relationship Manager, and Leigh Anne Lankford, TrainingPros President, represented the company at DevLearn 2024, held in vibrant Las Vegas, NV.

DevLearn, an annual event offered by the Learning Guild, is one of the premier conferences for eLearning consultants and corporate eLearning developers. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with industry professionals, share insights, and engage with thought leaders shaping the future of learning and development.

Attendees had the privilege of hearing from dynamic keynote speakers, including:

  • Kara Swisher, American journalist and tech expert, who shared insights on Navigating Tech Transformation, offering a thought-provoking look at the impact of emerging technologies on industries worldwide.
  • Erik Wahl, an artist and entrepreneur, who delivered an inspiring session on The Art of Vision, exploring creativity as a driving force for innovation.
  • David Kelly and Dani Johnson, who co-presented on Navigating the Future & Harnessing Learning Technologies, providing actionable strategies for leveraging technology in the evolving learning and development landscape.

Lori and Leigh Anne also attended a variety of sessions covering essential topics such as accessibility, gamification, artificial intelligence (AI), design thinking, cohort learning, and content globalization. These sessions highlighted innovative strategies and emerging trends that are redefining the eLearning landscape.

A standout feature of the event was the expansive expo floor, featuring over 100 vendors showcasing cutting-edge solutions. This year, the spotlight was on AI, with most exhibitors introducing AI-powered components to their products. Regular demo stage presentations kept attendees engaged, offering live insights into the latest tools and technologies in action. The DevLearn expo is the easiest way to stay abreast of the technology innovations in the field of learning and development.
